AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN

We are currently in the midst of a Uninsured Enrollment Period (UEP) as a result of a recent Presidential Order that is open from February 15th to May 15th.

As a result of the AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN, UEP shall be followed by an EXPANDED ENROLLMENT PERIOD beginning on May 15th through August 15th.

While we feel that continuity of care is important, applicants shall be able to shop between carriers during upcoming EXPANDED ENROLLMENT PERIOD.

Ten Counties still only have one ACA market, so for the most part Rural areas won't be impacted by this aspect of the AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN..

For those Counties that have more than one market, just be mindful of switching between carriers mid-year and the potential impact on your health insurance.

AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN also allocated a greater amount of $ for Advanced Premium Tax Credits.

This is not automatic, so you'll need to update your application to take advantage of the new tax credits
